The environmental services industry has a high potential for accidents and injuries. Knowing this keeps Patriot vigilant and mindful of what one accident can mean. The Injury, Illness and Prevention Program is one tool used to educate and implement safety standards, which are recognized as some of the most stringent in the industry.  The safety goal at Patriot is a lofty one, however Patriot believes the benchmark of zero accidents is attainable. Patriot’s training regimen includes annual refreshers for HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR, Blood Borne Pathogens, Confined Space Operations, Confined Space Rescue, and other specialty courses as required. Additionally, Patriot personnel are trained and equipped to work in all types of environments that may require Personal Protective Equipment from OSHA level “D” to level “A”. The health and safety management and training at Patriot is under the direction of in-house personnel.
